Rarely do I get a chance to post engagement pictures on the day that a couple is getting married but today is that day! A BIG congratulations to Poonam and Mithil on their wedding today!
Poonam is old friend who has done a seemingly impossible task of planning an entire wedding in less than 6 months. For her engagement pictures, we chose NJ Skylands Manor in Ringwood NJ as the location. The entire place is absolutely beautiful but unfortunately due an ongoing wedding, we could not use the castle for the pictures. Never-the-less, Poonam and Mithil’s love and not mention Poonam’s grace made the location look even more beautiful!
How do you like the pictures? Which one is your favorite? Leave me comments below!
Carolyn and I have been trying to do a shoot for some time now. We tried to have a shoot in an abandoned factory but soon got kicked out of there for trespassing so we decided to do some studio shots instead :-p
Now I’ll be the first to admit that studio photography is probably the biggest area for improvement for me. Biggest issue I run into is lack of proper equipment (Lack of seamless, cutters etc) and space, I have a 20X20 feet room with little room to position the flashes the way you want. But I try to take it as a challenge and…. practice makes a man perfect, right? And that is is what I was going for. I do want to try something in a bigger studio sometime soon. I’ll be switching to a TTL compatible system soon so I’ll try something after that
