One of the best part about my job is that many times I get to get to capture how the kids grow up. I had a shoot with AnnMarie and David’s kids last year (Found here) and I couldn’t believe how much they have grown in one year!
This year’s shoot was at the Grounds for Sculpture in Trenton. Its one of my favorite places in NJ to shoot. It offers a nice mixture of organic and modern elements as well as some good indoor places in case of bad weather.
Its amazing how time flies. I cant believe the new born baby that I took pictures of last year (found here) is already one year old.
Here are some of the pictures from her first birthday. Memories like these only come once in a lifetime and I’m glad to be able to capture these memories that will last a lifetime
The progression in her first year
The cake was so intricate, I wouldn’t have the heart to cut it!
I thought this was a genius way of serving fruits
All these cousins share the same birthday month
And here is the happy family
She was a little hesitant about getting her hands dirty but below is how we ended!
It’s finally happened! I’ve known Diti and Arpit for the past 6 years and they are some of my best friends here in the states. I’ve watched their friendship grow over the years. They are made for each other and I couldnt be happier that they are now engaged!
For the photoshoot, we wanted to get a backdrop of where their relationship flourished so we started at the Rutgers campus and moved on to Longwood Gardens in PA.
They are set be married in India in January. Please join me in wishing this wonderful couple happy life together.
Also included in these series are some my first successful attempts at the Brenizer’s method (Bokeh Panaroma). Can you spot which ones?
Michelle and I go back a long way. She is good friend and my former boss. For the past two years, I’ve been taking pictures of her Nephews.
Now that she is expecting a baby girl, she asked me if I could do an pregnancy shoot for her. This would be my first pregnancy shoot so I thought it would be fun and a good challenge. You see, pregnancy shoots can be tricky. If done right, they look cute but you’re always walking on a fine line and if the pictures dont look how you envision it, they can look extremely awkward and cheesy.
So, how did I do? Let me know in the comments!
In his own words, Mahesh Kotagi is a Pharmacist by day and a Comedian by night. Having done numerous stand ups across the US, he is quickly becoming one of the popular south asian comedian. But unlike your Russel Peters, Mahesh doesnt just focus on south asian humor.
